An Evening with Common Threads: Chefs Celebrating Children in the Kitchen

The Event: Common Threads will host its second annual benefit on Thursday, April 26th, 2012, bringing together some of the most influential Washington, DC chefs, elected officials, industry professionals, foodies, and our own Small Threads students to raise funds to sustain Common Threads’ hands-on after-school programming for low-income children in Washington, DC.

D.C.’s best chefs will team up with Common Threads most promising students to serve global gourmet cuisine to 250 guests. This delicious and heart-warming event will take place at The Liaison Capitol Hill Hotel , hosted by Common Threads founder, Chef Art Smith, with co-hosts, Chef Carla Hall and Mary Beth Albright. Auction items will feature one-of-a-kind experiences for food lovers!
