Carol Burnett, who starred for 11 years on her CBS variety series “The Carol Burnett Show,” will receive the Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, an award that has previously gone to Ellen DeGeneres, Will Ferrell and Tina Fey.
